I bought this bike as an entry bike having ridden before. The Shadow Aero is an awesome looking bike that provides a lot more than another name brand bike at less than HALF the cost. The only problem I have is my height. It is comfortable on short (less than 100mile) rides but beyond that, it is difficult to rest my legs. The power is definitely there at the low to mid range but the power curve tops out at around 80mph. The unofficial top speed is about 115 (not that I condone finding this out for yourself).
Basically, the Shadow Aero is a very sharp looking and good riding bike for someone who may just be starting out. I would definitely recommend this bike.
